Marko having graduated from Business Administration in Germany, started his journey with ASB already in 1998 working in places around the world such as Serbia, Kosovo, Haiti, Uganda and Nicaragua before settling in Iraq. He enjoys the diversity of our projects and working with such an international team. He also loves to travel and Sri Lanka is one of his personal favorites!

Sameer, with his long and sound experience in administration, procurement, and finance job, is always on call providing support to every member of the team. He is the ASB liaison with the Kurdistan Regional Government.

Raied had a degree in computer and statistics from the University of Mosul. Raied fled from his destroyed house in Mosul saving his family, children, parents and the family of his deceased sister to Duhok, who joined ASB in 2014. Raied passions towards humanitarian work are obvious and never-ending. Every success story has a hero behind it called Raied.

Ali, is a medical doctor who recently graduated from Tikrit University with a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and General Surgery (M.B.Ch. B).
He started volunteering in his small village at the age of 14 and is continuing his humanitarian work believing that. “Knowing is not enough; We must apply. Wishing is not enough; We must do”

Ali is a graduate of the Faculty of General Medicine in Ukraine. He has worked in the humanitarian field for nearly seven years, most recently as a Protection Team Leader at the International Rescue Committee, where he was responsible for managing and coordinating protection activities, developing effective strategies to ensure the safety of individuals in conflict affected areas.

Dr. Omar graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine in Ukraine in 2016. Afterward, he gained additional work experience in the private sector as a Sales and Marketing Manager in the medical field. He is the longest serving medical professional in the ASB health team and has supported health projects in Ninewa, Anbar, Salahadeen and Kirkuk through his dedication and hardwork.
